Reflection of Tui 2021 by Zoe This is my rflection from being in Tui this year.

Haiku Poem

 bnnj  A Haiku Poem Japensese Poem . The first line has to have 5 sallyables and the second line has to have  7

sallyables and the last line has to have 5 sallyables.The easy part was what you wanted to write in nature.The hard part was getting the sallyables right. 

Mr Tricky

We have been leanring how to write a narative story.My favourite part was the ending. The hardest part was the problem and thinking about the problem.

 Chapter 1: Separated 

Mr Tricky was a very tricky little boy but loyal to his pack of wolves. He had dog ears and was red, with a yellow nose and shoes. One day when he was riding on his wolf toward the pack, a big fire separated him.The next day he tried to find the pack but failed.The next couple of days he wandered through the woods searching for his wolves but couldn't find them. One day he found his mark, he had found a lynx. The best thing about her was she knew her way in the forest from the tip of her tail to the tip of her tongue. But how could he make a lynx help him without getting eaten?  Then he had an idea that struck him like lightning. What if he tricked the lynx into helping him? He had done it many times to his prey (He had these boxes that made things tricky) But how can I do that? He thought wait I know how. '' He strode up to the lynx pretending he had all of his wolf's confidence, “Hey!” he yelled.  The lynx gave a startled jump and looked around. Mr Tricky said “I’m the one talking over here”. “Oh, hi tell me your name” the lynx said but Mr Tricky was smarter than her. Tell me your name first he said. “My name is Snowfall, what is yours,” asked Snowfall? “My name is Mr Tricky,” said Mr Tricky. “I thought you could help

                              Chapter 2 :Rejoined 

me home,” Mr Tricky said. So I can get back to my wolf he thought. But he wasn’t sure he should say that just yet though. 

On the way Snowfall chatted asking questions about his life but just as she said her last thing, a big big bear rose from the bushes and swatted a huge paw at them. Snowfall bristled at the huge bear, it was the biggest bear he’d seen it had black fur like the night sky, its eyes were yellow so bright, huge big claws like teeth where in its mouth.  Huge paws that were bigger than a tigers, but the worst thing was he had a good sense of smell and  wasn't scared. How am I to get out of this? thought Mr Tricky. But then as fast as lightning, before he could stop her,  Snowfall leaped at the bear, and killed it. She was panting like mad, then Mr Tricky noticed something there was smoke coming off her fur. Wow, is she a fire lynx?Thought Mr Tricky. Then he blurted are you a fire lynx? Snowfall looked at him in surprise, yes she said. How can that be? thought Mr Tricky. ”Do you know Timberwood,” asked Snowfall? “No,” admitted  Mr Tricky. Well he was an ice wolf and white, he had the kindest eyes which were gold, a good runner and was my best pal, said Snowfall.  She was doing some odd things with her face until Mr Tricky realized she was trying not to cry,but there were tears in her eyes. 

“What happened to him,”asked Mr Tricky. Well he found someone that looked like you, anyway we are almost there she said. 

The next day they arrived where the wolf pack was then a wolf as white as snow came out. His golden eyes landed on Mr Tricky then, on Snowfall and he gasped! “Snowfall, Is that you,” he asked? “Yes Timberwood,” she said and then his eyes went back to Mr Tricky. There were tears in his eyes.Then they rode into the jungle.

One Day they met three girls called Zoe ,Elizabeth and Harmony. Zoe was the lightest brown they had ever seen ,Elizabeth had the  lightest blue eyes and Harmony had long, long hair. They all stared at them. Who are you? Zoe said in dog then Elizabeth and Harmony asked Zoe do you think we should keep walking?Yeah, said Zoe. Then Zoe and Harmony let out a long howl and Elizabeth roared.  

                                      Chapter 3:The end

  Two wolves and a tiger came rushing out. The three animals said their names, the tiger said her name was  Glory and Zoe's wolf was called Sundew and Harmony’s one was called Ruby. Then they all hopped onto their animals and then Mr Tricky rode with them and all them rid into the Jungle.

 

Satistic Investigation

We are learning to:

• Pose investigative questions.

• Plan for and collect data.

• Display data in tally charts, pictographs and bar graphs.

• Make statements about data displays.

• Answer the investigative question

We are learning satistics this week. The first statistic we did was with the M&M we counted them and made a bar graph . The second time we posed our own question we did that two times. You count the tally marks you have down you can see witch ones are the most populer and the ones that are least populer.

I found it interesting as I have never made a bar graph before.

  

A First Anmation

 We were learning how to do animation on our chrome books .I found it hard because I didn't expet it to happen at such a young age. 

This is how I made it. You make an animal or a person and then get an image of somewhere and copy it move the  animal or person  just it an inch. 

Next time I will inprove my work by taking responsibility of my own work and not chatting too much.

It was easy because I had friends to help me. 

Introduction

We have been learning to write about our self. We did it so people know about us when reading our blogs.

Kia ora, my name is Zoe I am 7 years old. My favourite animals are the elephant family and the dog family and two cats called Charlie the fun cat and Sid the school cat. I have one dog called Judith the bush dog and lazy dog. My teacher is called Mrs Long. The fruit that I like are blueberries, apples and strawberries. My favourite game is Jungle Gym Because Jungle Gym you can be anything you want which Me and Elizabeth play at my house . My best friends  are Harmony, Isla, Violet, Maddi, Sam and Pippa. My favourite sports are swimming and gymnastics. My bff is Elizabeth, a kind and caring friend. I am New Zealand Maori and Croatian . I have one brother and three sisters. I am the 4th sister. My favourite  places are Christchurch, Auckland, Greymouth, the lollie shop in Hokitika because the lady is really nice to me and the Westland Greenstone Shop.  The thing that I like the best about Hoki is the beach because I like hopping on the rocks where they were placed. The thing that I like at school is reading. Me and dad go to the bookshop sometimes to get Wings of Fire books. Do you know that cats and dogs have in common and that cats  can be friends with dogs and that 40 American households have dogs? That's cool dog lovers !
